Dr. Anne Curtis, FRCPC, DABD
Dr. Curtis of Cosmetic Dermatology on Bloor is a dermatologist who focuses on cosmetic procedures such as injectables, chemical peels, sclerotherapy, laser treatments, and Botox injections. She is a clinical dermatologist who spent many years on staff at the University of Health Network, as well at Women's College Hospital. Dr. Curtis was also the director of the Women's College Dermatology Laser Centre for many years. She is the Treasurer of Toronto Dermatological Society, as well as the President of the Eglinton Branch Society of the Ontario Medical Association. She is also a member of the OMA Council, an Ontario representative to the Canadian Medical Association General Council, and lectures at the University of Toronto, teaching medical and dermatology students. She is also a member of the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery, The American Academy of Dermatology, the Canadian Dermatology Association and the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honour Society.
She is certified by the American Board of Dermatology as well as the American Board of Internal Medicine, and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
Dr. Curtis won the Cody Gold Medal for the highest academic standing in her graduating year at the University of Toronto Medical School. She then completed a fellowship in internal medicine and was Chief Resident at University Hospital in London, Ontario before doing her dermatology fellowship.
Her husband, Blake Woodside, is a Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto and she and Blake have three adult sons. They enjoy singing in their church choir, theater and gardening and spend a month every summer at their cottage in Nova Scotia.
